Within the Landscape ~ Art Respecting Life

"Within the Landscape ~ Art Respecting Life", Dr. Roberta Bondar's Travelling Exhibition and Learning Experience on Biodiversity and Extinction is currently at the TELUS Spark Science Centre in Calgary, AB.  The exhibition opens on Jan. 23 and runs until June 15, 2014. This exhibition is organized and toured by The Roberta Bondar Foundation and the Art Gallery of Algoma. It includes 44 colour photographs by Dr. Roberta Bondar, artist and scientist, who explores issues related to environment, its evolution and continues changes that we are witnessing. Dr. Bondar’s images depict biodiversity across seven biomes - forests, lakes and rivers, coastal and marine, desert and semi-desert, savanna grasslands, wetlands and ice. By looking at these images we can begin to understand how intrinsic these ecosystems are to various life forms and, ultimately, the health and wellbeing of human beings and our planet.
