The Art Gallery of Algoma (AGA) will be closed effective Saturday, April 3 until further notice.
The Province of Ontario has ordered a province-wide lockdown of all non-essential businesses in order to contain the spread of COVID – 19 and its variants in our communities. Based on this directive and out of an abundance of concern for the well-being of our community, the AGA will be closed to the public until further notice.
The AGA remains committed to providing art experiences for our community during this time through digital platforms. Please visit our website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube channel. We have a lot of content that can keep you connected to art and to the AGA such as Artist's Talks, art and crafts-based videos, Art & Discovery program, permanent collection database (under Art Search on the website) and more. We will keep producing and publishing more digital content during this time so stay tuned!
In addition, we will share updated information about future exhibitions and programs as it becomes available.
Wishing you all the best during this time of uncertainty, daily change, and challenge. Stay home, stay safe!
