Hello Summer! PD Day Art Camp | Ages 6-12

Activity 1: Paint your own summer cottage
Students can paint their own imaginative summer cottages with acrylic paint on canvas. They will learn acrylic painting and colour mixing techniques, as well as about both atmospheric and linear perspective as they represent their summer cottages by the beach, in an enchanted forest, or as part of a vibrant landscape.
Activity 2: Create seashells for the seashore
Students can create their own colourful seashells from disposable plates. They can decorate them with acrylic paint on foam rollers and add glitter as well as ribbon/yarn for extra embellishment. Students will learn about working with acrylic paint in a new way, as well as the importance of using household/recycled materials to create mixed-media artworks.
Pricing is $30 for AGA Members (with a Family Membership) and $40 for non-members.
