Art Is All Around Us
Roy Greenaway (1891-1972 | Canadian)
Roy Greenaway was a self-taught painter, learning in his free time when he wasn’t working at his full-time job at the Toronto Daily Star as a reporter/photographer. Greenaway began painting in the 1930s with oil paints, a post-war contemporary painter inspired by the Toronto scenery around him. The artist also captured coastal and cityscapes of Quebec, New York, Venice and England.
