Exhibition Proposal Procedure
The exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Algoma (AGA) are selected from proposals that are received from artists or other Art Galleries.
In most instances, the AGA works with and invites individual artists to submit their proposals. Unsolicited proposals are seldom selected. Submitting a proposal does not guarantee an exhibition at the AGA.
The Exhibition Proposal must include:
Exhibitions are selected based on the overall direction in programming. All exhibition spaces are curated to provide our audiences with a broad representation of various art forms, styles, techniques, and curatorial themes. In addition, the significant AGA permanent collection is equally represented in the programming.
