Fall Art Classes for Children 5-9 yrs
Join Evangeline Mann, the AGA Public Programming and Education Coordinator, for a four week series of art classes for children 5 to 9 years old. Have fun exploring a different activity each week including working with cardboard, paper, drawing, painting, printmaking and nature.
4 WEEKS:
Week 1: Sat Nov 4 - 10 AM to 12 PM
Having Fun With Cardboard
This week, students will create sculptures with cardboard and learn about the processes involved in creating three-dimensional, mixed-media artworks.
Week 2: Sat Nov 18 - 10 AM to 12 PM
Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Oh My!
For week two, students will explore various artistic media, such as drawing, painting and printmaking, used to create two-dimensional pieces.
Week 3: Sat Nov 25 - 10 AM to 12 PM
Exploring the Natural World
This week, students will work with found materials and objects to create their own mixed-media artworks.
Week 4: Sat Dec 2 - 10 AM to 12 PM
Walking in a Winter Wonderland
In week four, students will learn about how to work with acrylic paint and collage.
